Energy Efficiency Engineer – Singapore (Australian Market - VEECs)

About the role

Join OTC Flow’s Singapore desk to develop the Australian white certificate business, focusing on Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs). You will use your engineering expertise to guide partners through energy‑efficiency projects and convert them into tradable certificates, with a month of training in Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Identify eligible energy‑efficiency activities for VEECs and assess opportunities under related schemes (NSW ESS/ESCs, PDRS/PRCs).
• Advise clients and installation partners on optimal upgrades and calculate expected energy savings and certificate volumes.
• Provide technical support to commercial and trading teams throughout the certification process.
• Track regulatory developments and translate guideline changes into commercial implications.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional Asian or European language is a plus.
• Based in Singapore or willing to relocate, eligible to work in Singapore (visa sponsorship possible).
• Engineering degree in energy, mechanical, electrical, HVAC or building services.
• Genuine interest in energy efficiency and environmental markets.
• Experience in consulting, ESCO, HVAC or energy‑efficiency projects is valued.
• Open to occasional travel to Australia.
