Facilities Specialist

About the role

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for the day‑to‑day management, maintenance, and smooth operation of NEON’s workplace facilities. The role ensures that the office environment remains safe, functional, and supportive of employee productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and maintenance of office facilities, including repairs, renovations, and improvements.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, equipment, and common areas to ensure proper upkeep.
• Liaise with landlords, building management, contractors, and service providers; oversee vendor performance and compliance.
• Obtain quotations, coordinate procurement of facilities‑related services and supplies, and monitor budgets.
• Support workplace health, safety, and security requirements, including fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and evacuation drills.
• Maintain required licences, permits, inspections, and certifications.
• Identify potential workplace risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage meeting rooms and common‑area services, respond promptly to facilities‑related requests, and support employee events and meetings.
