Financial Analyst – Energy EPC Projects

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support senior finance leadership in delivering high‑quality reporting, business insights, and performance analysis for a diverse portfolio of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. Based in the west of Singapore, the role focuses on driving financial visibility and influencing strategic decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee management reporting for project and corporate performance.
• Analyse business and project profitability, evaluate margin trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Challenge assumptions, investigate variances and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Partner with operational stakeholders on forecasting, budgeting and project reviews.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including reporting automation and dashboard development.
• Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA) are advantageous.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Big 4 audit, FP&A, business analysis or finance transformation.
• Exposure to project‑driven industries such as engineering, construction, oil & gas or petrochemicals.
• Strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence to constructively challenge financial outcomes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Business Central.
