Group Finance Manager – Technology Startup (APAC)

About the role

We are seeking a Group Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing technology startup in its aggressive expansion phase. The role will partner with the Group Financial Controller to shape finance strategy across the APAC region, driving automation, process optimisation and new market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial consolidation across all APAC business units and lead the Group audit process.
• Oversee daily finance operations (accounts receivable, general ledger, tax), manage intercompany accounting and ensure flawless month‑end close.
• Supervise, mentor and develop offshore finance team members.
• Act as a key stakeholder in regional ERP implementations, system enhancements and process automation initiatives.
• Partner with business units to research, strategise and set up financial and regulatory frameworks for new territory entries.
• Develop and enforce robust internal control procedures and manage cross‑border tax compliance (CIT, GST).
• Serve as the go‑to expert for internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex financial queries and eliminate inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting/finance degree; ACCA or CPA highly desirable.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in technology or startup environments.
• Proven expertise in technical accounting, group finance, consolidation and financial operations.
• Deep knowledge of regional tax, statutory reporting requirements and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive strategic change.
