Group Financial Controller – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance leader to head the Group Financial Controller function for a well‑established manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the CEO/GM, you will oversee group reporting, consolidation and financial governance across Singapore and regional plants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function for the Singapore headquarters and regional entities.
• Manage monthly group consolidation and prepare IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Develop and coach the finance team, ensuring robust governance and internal controls.
• Produce management reports, board packs and financial analysis for senior leadership.
• Partner with plant leaders in China, Thailand and Malaysia on product margins, costing, inventory, working capital and cash flow.
• Oversee manufacturing finance activities including standard costing, cost accounting, inventory valuation and cost‑control initiatives.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and act as primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors and regulators.
• Monitor foreign‑exchange exposure, inter‑company transactions and group compliance requirements.
• Support strategic projects through financial analysis, reporting enhancements and process improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; qualified CA, CPA or ACCA.
• Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments.
• Proven track record partnering with manufacturing plants on costing, inventory and operational finance.
• Regional exposure in China and Southeast Asia with ability to manage multi‑jurisdictional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
