HR Operations and Discipline Officer

About the role

The HR Operations and Discipline Officer will be a key contributor to the development, implementation and oversight of HR policies that support SID’s vision of being a ‘Choice Employer’. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive initiatives across welfare services, employee benefits, discipline frameworks and crisis management.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leaders to design, review and implement HR strategies in welfare and discipline domains.
• Develop and manage staff welfare and benefit schemes, including leave and medical provisions.
• Run outplacement policies and coordinate award nomination ceremonies for outstanding officers.
• Formulate and enforce conduct and discipline policies, ensuring fair case management.
• Design and maintain a crisis and contingency management framework to ensure operational resilience.
• Provide technical and strategic leadership for the HR team, guiding professional growth and stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen.
• Open to fresh graduates and mid‑career professionals; senior‑level candidates may lead a team.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated team player who can also work independently.
