HR Shared Services Manager

About the role

The Manager, HR Shared Services will lead the delivery of HR shared services for all RBC entities in Singapore, handling confidential employee information and ensuring smooth HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding, off‑boarding and other employee life‑cycle HR processes.
• Administer payroll accurately and on time, ensuring statutory deductions and contributions.
• Maintain employee records in the local HRIS and Workday, keeping data up‑to‑date.
• Manage benefits and leave administration, including group insurance, pension schemes, recognition programs, savings plans and the leave management system.
• Close background pre‑employment checks for new hires.
• Communicate promptly with internal and external stakeholders on HR matters.
• Prepare and submit HR reports and statutory returns (e.g., pension enrolment, tax filings).
• Support rollout of new HR policies and updates to existing procedures.
• Conduct HRIS UAT testing and handle ad‑hoc HR projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 6‑8 years of relevant HR operations experience.
• Strong background in payroll, benefits, rewards and HR data administration.
• Knowledge of tax and employment regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
