Inventory Controller – Singapore Planning Team

About the role

The Inventory Controller will join the Singapore planning team and manage inventory across all categories – packaging, raw materials, finished goods and work‑in‑progress. The role supports the creation of an optimized supply plan by analysing key performance indicators such as Weeks of Stock, on‑hand inventory value, inventory loss, accuracy and perfect order rate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead routine analysis and management of inventory across all categories.
• Analyse inventory trends and advise buyers and master planners on stocking levels and planning parameters.
• Drive inventory optimisation to balance market demand flexibility with on‑hand value and warehouse capacity.
• Facilitate the monthly Materials Review Board (MRB) to minimise write‑offs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy across on‑site, external warehouses and production WIP locations.
• Review and align SOPs and work instructions related to inventory movements.
• Implement inventory control programmes with Warehouse, Production, QA and Finance to meet accuracy targets and SOX compliance.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and lead root‑cause analysis for corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of supply planning and inventory management concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
