Engineer – Air Network & Partner Management

About the role

The Engineer / Senior Engineer, Partner Network Management is responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation and ongoing optimisation of third‑party air network capacity across Asia‑Pacific. The role acts as a key liaison between network planning, airline partners, operations, procurement, commercial teams and external vendors to ensure partner capacity delivers optimal service, reliability, flexibility and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and recommend airline, charter, interline and transportation partners to support network requirements across Asia‑Pacific.
• Lead partner onboarding and implementation activities from concept through operational launch, coordinating procurement, legal, finance, operations and customs teams.
• Monitor partner network performance on service, reliability, utilisation and financial metrics and drive refinements such as schedule adjustments and capacity reallocations.
• Serve as primary escalation point for partner‑related operational challenges and support irregular operations planning and recovery.
• Utilise network planning tools, operational data and analytical models to develop dashboards, reporting tools and performance reviews for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• 0‑10 years of experience in airline network planning, cargo operations, transportation planning or logistics.
• Experience working with airline partners, interline agreements or external network operators.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience leading complex cross‑functional projects and operational implementations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
