Junior Business Analyst

About the role

Sunline Technology is looking for a motivated Junior Business Analyst to join its Singapore team. You will work closely with banking clients to understand their needs, translate them into functional specifications and support the delivery of digital banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse customer business requirements, identify pain points and produce clear functional specifications.
• Manage client expectations, guiding them toward standard product capabilities and limiting unnecessary customisation.
• Prepare and maintain FSDs, requirement specifications, gap‑analysis reports, user manuals, training materials and test cases.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs, coordinate internal and external reviews and obtain timely customer sign‑off.
• Support QA, FAT, SIT and UAT activities, including test planning, execution, issue tracking and quality monitoring.
• Assist customers in preparing and executing UAT, ensuring a solid understanding of the system.
• Consolidate common requirements across projects and collaborate with Product Management and R&D on product enhancements.
• Participate in presales activities such as product demos, POC execution, RFP responses and solution preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, functional consulting or banking technology (fresh graduates with a relevant degree are also welcome).
• Experience with banking systems, core or digital banking, payments, lending or deposits is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Product, R&D, Sales, PMO and Delivery.

Required skills

• Experience with FAT, SIT and UAT testing processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools for documentation or analysis (a plus).
