Lead Solution Architect

About the role

The Lead Solution Architect will define and govern the end‑to‑end architecture for enterprise‑wide Warehouse Management System (WMS) initiatives and related digital transformation projects. You will translate business needs into secure, scalable, and cost‑effective technology solutions that align with corporate strategy and enterprise architecture standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable WMS solutions across multiple regional sites.
• Gather requirements from operations, customers, vendors and IT, converting them into functional and technical specifications.
• Define configuration, workflow, integration architecture and system standards for WMS, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Lead integration between WMS and external systems such as ERP, TMS, OMS, carrier platforms, and automation solutions.
• Support warehouse automation technologies (WCS, WES, conveyors, sortation, robotics, AMRs, ASRS) and oversee their integration.
• Guide solution design, testing, deployment, go‑live, hyper‑care and post‑production stabilization.
• Collaborate with development, integration and vendor teams to ensure architectural compliance, quality and timeline adherence.
• Drive pre‑sales, onboarding and solution assessment activities, estimating effort and feasibility.
• Promote continuous improvement, governance, documentation and innovation across the contract logistics technology landscape.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in WMS solution design and architecture.
• Strong background in logistics IT applications (WMS, TMS, ERP, visibility and automation platforms).
• Proven experience in contract logistics, 3PL or supply‑chain environments.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate WMS with warehouse automation technologies.
