About the role
The Nanyang Business School (NBS) is recruiting a Legal Research Associate in the area of AI, data protection and data privacy law, technology law, health law and cybersecurity law and practice. The position is based at the NTU Main Campus.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in primary legal research on databases such as Lexis-Nexis, HeinOnline and others.
- Collate research materials found, including writing summaries of regulatory materials, legal judgments and secondary sources.
- Help formulate and develop data governance practices and frameworks.
- Contribute to empirical research.
- Carry out other research administrative tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Law degree or Juris Doctor from a good university.
- Experience in research and/or AI law and regulation and/or data protection law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership potential.
- Organised and meticulous, able to follow instructions carefully.
- Team player who can also work independently.
A solid understanding of technology is an advantage. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
