Manager, Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Manager, Audit & Assurance leads a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery for both international and local clients. You will be fully accountable for planning, executing and finalising audits while managing budgets, timelines and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Apply professional scepticism and judgement on critical technical issues.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members, including performance reviews and training.
• Collaborate with business development on pitches and with support teams on engagement financials (budgeting, billing, collection).

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably at an international accounting firm.
• Strong ethical values, respect for diversity and a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
