Manager, Community Partnership

About the role

The Manager, Community Partnership will lead the development and execution of community‑centric initiatives for a transport authority. You will act as the bridge between the organisation and grassroots groups, ensuring policies are understood and community needs are addressed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive community communications and engagement strategy in collaboration with internal divisions.
• Create and manage diverse communication materials for both physical and digital platforms.
• Coordinate internal approvals and ensure timely delivery of outreach projects.
• Track progress, analyse key performance indicators, and report on outreach effectiveness.
• Engage with grassroots organisations through meetings, public education programmes, publicity campaigns, and co‑organised community events.
• Explain the rationale behind policies and procedures, and activate measures that improve the living environment, including placemaking initiatives.

Required profile

• Preferred knowledge in Engineering, Mass Communications, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in people‑focused roles within a large, dynamic organisation.
• Experience in public education, event management, or stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with transport‑related projects (roads, rails, community infrastructure) and working with grassroots groups is an advantage.
• Committed, resourceful, and keen on problem‑solving.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
