Manager, Digital Development

About the role

The Digital Development (Audience) Manager will lead the creation, optimisation and commercial adoption of SPH Media’s audience‑led advertising solutions. Working at the intersection of audience strategy, ad technology and data monetisation, you will translate audience insights into scalable products that drive advertiser adoption and digital revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain high‑value audience segments and products for direct and programmatic channels.
• Define audience segmentation logic, taxonomy and governance across platforms.
• Build and manage first‑party audience segments in DMP/CDP and contextual targeting systems, ensuring brand safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with Tech, Product, Ad Sales and Operations to enhance audience platforms and roll out new capabilities.
• Support quality assurance, troubleshooting and optimisation of audience data across ad servers, GAM, DSPs and activation platforms.
• Partner with Sales to drive adoption of audience‑led solutions and increase revenue contribution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audience development, ad‑tech or digital media product management.
• Strong understanding of first‑party data, audience segmentation and contextual targeting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, operations, technology and editorial teams.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on revenue impact and product scalability.

Required skills

• Experience with Data Management Platforms (DMP) and Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM) and programmatic Demand‑Side Platforms (DSP).
• Familiarity with ad‑server and activation platforms.
• Audience taxonomy design and governance.
• Brand‑safety and data‑quality assurance practices.
