Material Handler

About the role

The Material Handler will coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with customer service level agreements. The role involves using technology and process standards to meet inventory, order fulfilment, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the company’s inventory management system, monitor stock levels, and coordinate replenishment.
• Handle hazardous goods according to security procedures and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping of orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper labeling and documentation (packing list, BOL).
• Inspect and validate stock against customer orders, generate non‑compliance documents, and support corrective actions.
• Uphold workplace safety standards, complete mandatory safety training (e.g., 5S), and follow corporate social responsibility policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an inventory management system.
• Hazardous material handling knowledge.
• Familiarity with 5S workplace organization.
