Materials Planner II

About the role

The Materials Planner II supports the account team by managing daily material requirements, ensuring uninterrupted production and aligning supply with corporate targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material flow to achieve 100% production uptime.
• Monitor part availability and logistics to prevent bottlenecks.
• Identify and manage excess and obsolete inventory using data‑driven insights.
• Create and execute purchase orders in strict alignment with customer specifications while maintaining ERP data integrity.
• Leverage AI tools to automate routine reporting and flag supply risks early.
• Identify manual processes for automation and implement digital workflow improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Kinaxis (RR) and Oracle ERP is preferred.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
