Planning & Procurement Manager

About the role

The Planning & Procurement Manager leads the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and oversees supplier relationships to ensure efficient supply chain execution. This role balances demand, supply, inventory, and cost considerations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, inventory, and storage capacity.
• Validate demand forecasts, manage exceptions, and make fact‑based trade‑off decisions.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce aging stock, and improve working‑capital efficiency.
• Lead S&OP governance meetings, monitor KPIs such as inventory health, service levels, forecast accuracy, and supply reliability.
• Maintain material master data in SAP, coordinate with the SAP ITBP team, and resolve planning system issues.
• Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with performance metrics.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
