Principal Recruiter

About the role

Coinbase is looking for a Principal Recruiter to lead full‑lifecycle hiring for its Core Recruiting team. You will partner with senior leaders across G&A, Customer Experience, EAA and IT, and occasionally support product groups, helping to shape the future of finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for complex, senior‑level positions, from intake to offer.
• Build and maintain high‑quality candidate pipelines through self‑sourcing and competitive research.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and a strong candidate experience.
• Ensure data integrity, use pipeline analytics to identify bottlenecks, and drive hiring efficiency.
• Design and pilot recruiting processes that scale across global markets.

Required profile

• 8+ years of full‑lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology or fast‑growth environment.
• Proven success closing competitive candidates for G&A and/or technical functions.
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across multiple regions.
• Deep knowledge of the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping to closing.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into strategic recommendations.
