Product Communications Manager – Global Communications & Public Affairs

About the role

Google is seeking a Product Communications Manager to join its Global Communications & Public Affairs team. You will work cross‑functionally to shape and deliver messaging about Google’s products across the Asia‑Pacific region, engaging journalists, thought leaders, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communications plans that enhance product reputation across Asia‑Pacific.
• Collaborate with Business, Marketing, Product, Legal and other teams to create proactive strategies and manage reactive media inquiries.
• Craft narratives, story pitches, blog posts, social assets, Q&As, presentations and speeches.
• Coordinate interviews and prepare briefing materials for spokespeople, coaching executives on public relations and external communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in public relations, media relations, social/influencer programs, or product communications within technology or digital media.
• Experience managing integrated external communications in the digital ads industry.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for businesses, creators, or consumers.
