Project Manager

About the role

Luxshare is building a Singapore‑based engineering hub to deliver world‑class medical device design and development services. We are looking for a Project Manager to plan, coordinate and track individual medical device development and design‑transfer projects from kickoff through to commercial launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans for assigned development or design‑transfer projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement) to keep deliverables on track.
• Track project scope, timelines and budgets against plan, flagging deviations early.
• Prepare and distribute regular status reports, meeting minutes, and action‑item logs.
• Maintain project documentation in line with design‑control requirements (DHF inputs, decision logs).
• Support risk identification and maintain project‑level risk and issue logs.
• Coordinate design reviews, phase‑gate meetings, and project checkpoints.
• Assist with change control administration (ECO/ECN routing and tracking).
• Escalate schedule, resource, or scope risks to the Program Manager as needed.
• Support client status updates and meeting logistics under senior project staff direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of project management experience, preferably within a regulated industry such as medical devices.
• Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the medical device development lifecycle and design‑control basics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
