Project Manager - MLOps

About the role

The Project Manager - MLOps will lead the transformation of MLOps infrastructure across edge and cloud environments. You will drive AI‑driven best practices, ensure production‑scale deployment, and guide a team of data scientists and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for MLOps infrastructure transformation, covering edge and cloud.
• Manage AI projects end‑to‑end, including planning, execution, monitoring, and risk reporting.
• Champion Agile and Scrum methodologies to optimise project outcomes.
• Lead migration initiatives while ensuring performance, security, and cost‑efficiency.
• Establish data preparation strategies to improve data usability for MLOps.
• Direct a team of data scientists to develop future AI and MLOps strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align with project objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in MLOps, AI, Cloud, or DevOps, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• At least 4 years of experience building and deploying large‑scale machine learning applications.
• Minimum 2 years of direct management experience leading Agile teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and AWS certifications.
