Staff Software Engineer, GenAI

About the role

Design, build and run Generative AI services, agents and applications that solve practical problems for Agoda teams. Own the delivery lifecycle from understanding user needs to production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate GenAI services, agents and applications.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery, including testing, release and production operations.
• Improve AI quality, reliability, latency and cost through evaluation and monitoring.
• Build reusable APIs, tools and integrations with proper access controls and data protection.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional software‑engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Go, C# or TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience building GenAI applications, agents or AI‑agent‑serving systems.
• Proven ability to design, test and ship reliable software via CI/CD and resolve production issues.
• Effective communication in English with international stakeholders.
