Project Manager – Payments & IT Risk in Banking

About the role

Smart IMS Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology risk and payments initiatives for a leading global investment bank in Singapore. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project lifecycles and ensure delivery against scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IT projects in the banking and financial services sector, focusing on technology risk and payments domains.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risk and issue logs, and ensure regular status reporting to steering committees.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, risk and control functions, operations and vendors to define requirements and deliverables.
• Drive governance activities, including issue escalation, stakeholder communication and compliance with banking technology, security and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate testing, migration, implementation and production readiness activities, and support change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of IT project management experience within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience delivering projects in technology risk or payments applications, such as risk remediation, technology controls, payment system implementation or migration.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, SDLC and technology delivery lifecycles.
