Public Relations Communications Specialist

About the role

Marie Wee LLP is seeking a full‑time Public Relations Communications Specialist to join its Singapore team. This hybrid position blends office collaboration with remote flexibility, allowing you to shape compelling narratives for lifestyle brands that aim to make a positive social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases and media kits.
• Maintain and grow relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated PR campaigns aligned with client objectives.
• Support event‑related communications and coordinate media coverage.
• Create and manage content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
• Monitor media coverage, update media contact lists, and assist with crisis communications.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all public‑facing materials.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English with strong editorial skills.
• Proven experience in writing press releases, story pitches, and managing media relations.
• Background in public relations, strategic communications, or related fields, preferably within lifestyle, media, or agency environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Results‑oriented, able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
