QA/QC Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all construction materials and works meet client specifications and quality standards. You will act as the main liaison between the site team, subcontractors and the client to guarantee compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prepare and submit material submission documents for client approval.
• Maintain and update the Master Material Submission Register.
• Monitor daily site activities to verify work is performed according to ITPs and Method Statements.
• Arrange, inspect and record material and work tests, and submit test reports to clients.
• Raise and manage NCRs, coordinate corrective actions and close out non‑conformances.
• Liaise with site teams, QPS/LTA and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare ITPs, Method Statements, RFIs and final hand‑over documentation.
• Maintain all quality forms, checklists and documentation for precast elements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience on civil, roads or bridge projects.
• Proven ability to implement and manage QA/QC systems effectively.
• Experience handling NCR, CAR and PARA processes.
• Willingness to work occasional overnight shifts.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
• Experience with material testing and reporting.
• Ability to prepare and review ITPs, Method Statements and RFIs.
• Effective liaison and communication with clients, subcontractors and regulatory bodies.
