Reclamation Worker

About the role

The Reclamation Worker will support construction projects by managing procurement, cost estimation, and contractual claims. This role ensures accurate documentation and effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Source quotations for materials and services and prepare procurement documentation.
• Draft subcontractor and supplier agreements and recommend payments.
• Evaluate price comparisons, prepare costing summaries, and conduct quantity measurements.
• Plan project costs, prepare estimations, and manage budget and cost control.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final account settlements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all project‑related correspondence.
• Administer contracts, support contract‑related processes, and handle contractual issues such as extensions of time and loss & expense claims.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tuas.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
