Sales Development Representative – Singapore

About the role

Cockroach Labs is seeking a Sales Development Representative to build and nurture the top of the sales funnel in Singapore. You will identify high‑potential prospects, qualify leads, and hand them off to Account Executives, helping the company grow its customer base for CockroachDB.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a multi‑channel outbound prospecting strategy using email, phone, and social outreach.
• Research and prioritize target accounts weekly based on intent signals and engagement data.
• Leverage AI‑assisted workflows to scale outreach and maintain high productivity.
• Conduct early‑stage discovery calls, surface genuine business pain, and qualify leads.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to share account intelligence and ensure seamless handoffs.
• Develop technical fluency in CockroachDB to speak knowledgeably with prospects.
• Achieve quarterly qualified opportunity targets.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in lead generation or sales development.
• Proven ability to build positive business relationships and meet deadlines.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using metrics to influence decisions.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.com.
• Technical familiarity with CockroachDB or similar distributed database platforms.
