Senior Business Development Executive

About the role

The Asia Pacific Division is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Singapore office. Reporting to the Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, you will directly influence the company’s top‑line growth by building long‑term client relationships and driving new business across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve new‑business targets set by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and execute call plans, maintain prospect data in the Strategic Relationship System (SRS), and produce regular reports.
• Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients and brokers to generate continuous opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline by continuously qualifying and advancing prospects.
• Participate actively in local insurance and brokerage events, conferences, and industry meetings.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing strategies, and market practices to inform sales tactics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, loss‑prevention engineering, claims, underwriting, or related insurance functions.
• Proven knowledge of sales processes, including prospecting, nurturing, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Effective interpersonal, presentation, planning, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
