Senior C++ Software Engineer – Cloud Applications (Embedded)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and deployment of a next‑generation Robotaxi platform. You will build high‑performance, real‑time data pipelines that connect autonomous vehicles with cloud services, enabling fleet monitoring, remote control, and passenger safety.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a low‑latency, reliable cloud‑vehicle data pipeline on Linux.
• Lead the development of in‑vehicle software components for monitoring, dispatch, and remote control.
• Collaborate with product managers, cloud engineers, and operations to translate requirements into system architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best‑practice coding standards.
• Work with test and operations teams to define validation strategies and ensure field adoption.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) on Linux platforms.
• Proven ability to design and optimise multi‑threaded, asynchronous systems with strict performance and memory constraints.
• Experience taking complex features from concept through production, including testing and deployment.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, continuous‑delivery environments.
• Experience integrating applications with cloud‑native services such as AWS IoT Core or Azure IoT.
