Senior Director, Construction

About the role

DayOne is seeking a Senior Director of Construction to lead the full lifecycle delivery of its data centre projects in Indonesia. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget execution while meeting the highest technical and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the overall programme for Indonesia data centre developments, establishing KPIs and executive reporting.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources from feasibility through operational handover.
• Oversee architectural, structural, MEP, civil and mission‑critical engineering systems, leading design reviews and resilience planning.
• Select and manage EPCs, consultants, and specialist vendors, ensuring QA/QC, health & safety, environmental and labour compliance.
• Maintain PMO reporting cadence, dashboards, risk registers and drive improvements in planning tools and digital workflows.
• Lead forecasting, cash‑flow planning, procurement and claims management, building business cases for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in large‑scale construction, preferably mission‑critical projects.
• Strong understanding of statutory processes, regulations and risk management.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
