Senior Engineer – Construction Project Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The role combines hands‑on site management with strategic coordination among clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from inception to handover.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop detailed schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions.
• Review construction plans with architects and engineers to ensure feasibility and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and propose innovative solutions.
• Perform regular site inspections to enforce quality standards and resolve non‑compliance.
• Act as primary liaison among subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues.
• Supervise day‑to‑day site operations, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor project expenditures, prepare budget forecasts, and verify contractor invoices and variation claims.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and critical issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing construction sites and delivering large‑scale building projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, quality assurance procedures, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
