Senior Executive, Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Senior Executive, Freight Forwarding will lead end‑to‑end import and export operations across all transport modes. You will ensure accurate documentation, compliance with SOPs, and timely execution while coordinating with internal teams, customers, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end shipments (air, sea FCL/LCL, rail, road, multimodal) from booking to delivery.
• Prepare and issue shipping documents such as S/I, B/L, DO, permits, and LC documents in line with SOPs.
• Monitor shipments, provide status updates, and resolve operational exceptions (DG, OOG, damages, discrepancies).
• Liaise with internal departments (BD, Finance, CL) and external agents, carriers, and co‑loaders to ensure smooth execution.
• Support key accounts by handling RFQs/RFIs, maintaining SOPs, and managing new customer set‑ups.
• Validate costings, ensure billing accuracy, and close shipment files with complete records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding (import/export operations).
• Diploma in Logistics, Shipping or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain processes and Incoterms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
