Senior Financial Analyst – Finance Business Support

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide finance business support for our Enterprise Business unit, delivering timely and insightful financial analysis, forecasts and recommendations. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, performance tracking and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, as well as the annual budgeting process, reviewing assumptions and highlighting risks.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results, budget and forecast, presenting key findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end close activities and deliver in‑depth performance analysis.
• Participate in annual sales target allocation, translating budget figures into sales objectives.
• Execute cost syndication exercises, allocating costs to products and analysing product profitability.
• Support business case, bid and tender reviews, providing financial recommendations.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to assess initiative feasibility before presenting to senior leaders.
• Answer finance‑related queries from business units and advise on accounting implications in line with reporting standards.
• Undertake ad‑hoc finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in Financial Planning & Analysis or audit.
• Meticulous with strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Workday.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Excel Macros for data automation.
