Senior Lead Architect – Blockchain

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Lead Architect to drive the design and implementation of blockchain‑enabled solutions within JPMorgan Chase’s Kinexys team. The role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, allowing you to write production‑grade code while guiding engineering teams to deliver secure, cloud‑native products for the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build scalable blockchain and cloud‑native solutions, contributing production‑quality code as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, establishing best practices in architecture, design, and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions meet business, compliance, and security requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, managing dependencies and integration points across platforms.
• Champion automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native technologies to accelerate delivery and reliability.
• Evaluate, integrate, and implement public blockchain protocols such as Ethereum, Solana, and Hyperledger.
• Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Strong background in designing and building technology solutions, especially in cloud‑native environments.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security principles.
• Practical knowledge of financial services IT systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
