Senior Machine Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Senior Machine Maintenance Technician will ensure that production line equipment runs reliably and efficiently. You will lead maintenance activities, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced equipment repairs, troubleshooting, set‑up, buy‑off and type conversion.
• Lead preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, equipment calibration and tool calibration.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide training on maintenance procedures.
• Analyse equipment data to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S, and clean‑room protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and meet deadlines.
• Leadership capability to guide junior staff.

Required skills

• Level 2 equipment troubleshooting on at least one major equipment type.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience with computer‑based maintenance systems.
