Senior Manager – Group Internal Audit (Technology)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Group Internal Audit (Technology) is a senior specialist position within Singtel Group Internal Audit. Reporting to the Audit Director, you will provide independent, risk‑based assurance over Singtel’s technology, cybersecurity and digital environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology and cybersecurity audits across the Singtel Group.
• Develop Audit Planning Memorandums, defining objectives, scope, risks and audit approach.
• Design and execute audit programs aligned with Group Internal Audit methodology and professional standards.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity controls and technology governance frameworks.
• Evaluate major technology initiatives and systems under development for governance, controls, documentation and security‑by‑design.
• Provide assurance over cybersecurity risk management, including protection of networks, cloud environments, systems and sensitive data.
• Identify emerging technology risks, assess control maturity and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare high‑quality audit reports, lead kick‑off and closing meetings with senior executives, and challenge findings with senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technology audit, cybersecurity audit or related risk‑management functions.
• Proven ability to lead complex audit engagements and interact with senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing clear audit reports.
