Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction

About the role

DayOne is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and construction of mission‑critical data centre facilities across international markets. You will be responsible for delivering complex, high‑availability projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end data centre construction projects from initiation through commissioning and handover.
• Develop detailed scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Manage internal teams, external vendors, contractors, engineers, and consultants.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
• Oversee permitting, inspections, regulatory requirements, quality control, health & safety, and change management.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and financial performance.
• Coordinate commissioning and integration of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems.
• Prepare project documentation, close‑out reports, and handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 5–10+ years of project management experience in data centre or critical infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale construction projects with mechanical and electrical complexity.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
