Senior Software Engineer, Android

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of our Android application and contribute to iOS initiatives. You will shape the architecture of a high‑impact product used by millions worldwide, working with cutting‑edge mobile, cloud, and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of new features for Android (and support iOS where needed).
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Translate product priorities into technical solutions and actionable plans.
• Assess technical risks, propose mitigations, and make architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and management to ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor team members and drive improvements in engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects and influence technical direction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin programming.
• Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android frameworks.
• Experience with JNI or graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL).
• Knowledge of multi‑threaded programming, networking, memory management, and database design.
• Familiarity with native iOS development using Swift (a plus).
