Senior Software Engineer – Mobile Growth

About the role

OKX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Mobile Growth team in Singapore. The role sits at the crossroads of mobile engineering, consumer growth, and product development, focusing on features that drive user acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain reliable mobile growth features and supporting systems.
• Own the full engineering lifecycle from problem definition through launch, monitoring, and iteration.
• Develop and optimise growth capabilities such as onboarding funnels, referral programmes, acquisition journeys, engagement mechanics, notifications, and experimentation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Development, data teams, and regional stakeholders to translate growth objectives into technical solutions.
• Instrument user journeys, analyse metrics, and identify friction points for improvement.
• Participate in technical discussions, evaluate trade‑offs, and propose solutions based on engineering principles and data.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to boost productivity, code quality, and testing.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code, contribute to code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.
• For senior hires, lead projects independently, guide technical decisions, and mentor other engineers.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated independence.
• Strong interest in solving user‑facing problems and working with data‑driven growth initiatives.
• Current right to work in Singapore without the need for visa sponsorship.
