Software Tester (Automation)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Tester specialized in automation to join a leading regional enterprise. You will ensure the quality of desktop, web, and mobile applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for various platforms.
• Create reusable, modular automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Automate functional, regression, integration and smoke tests based on business and technical requirements.
• Prepare test cases, test data, artefacts and Requirement Traceability Matrix for automation.
• Execute automated scripts, analyse results, log defects and track them to resolution.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and business users to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Maintain automation frameworks, scripts and documentation.
• Support UAT and overall test activities to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience with strong hands‑on automation.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Tricentis Tosca and automation script development.
• Test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• SQL and basic scripting.
• Understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies and automation best practices.
