Staff Mobile Engineer

About the role

YouTrip is looking for a highly experienced Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the design and re‑platforming of its consumer and business mobile applications. Based in Singapore, you will own the end‑to‑end mobile stack, ensuring stability, maintainability and an exceptional user experience across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of mobile apps using Flutter and Dart, applying best‑practice patterns for performance and code quality.
• Architect robust, maintainable solutions and add platform‑specific enhancements with Swift and Kotlin when required.
• Own store and console responsibilities: App Store Connect, Google Play, Firebase, Apple certificates, and the fastlane‑match repository.
• Tri­age crashes and incidents, set Crashlytics thresholds, decide on hot‑fixes and act as the escalation point.
• Drive modernization of the mobile tech stack by leveraging native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies to boost development productivity.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Several years of professional mobile development experience, with a strong focus on Flutter.
• Solid background in native iOS and/or Android development (preferably both).
• Proven ability to lead complex mobile projects and own production‑grade app stores.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring teammates.
