Supply Chain Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead IMCD Singapore’s end‑to‑end supply chain, ensuring product availability, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Managing Director, Singapore and functionally to the Regional Operations Manager, APAC, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the full scope of the local supply chain, including demand planning, inventory management and 3PL coordination.
• Implement and enforce IMCD Global Supply Chain Policy and the Risk & Control framework.
• Prepare an annual supply‑chain risk analysis and drive corrective actions throughout the year.
• Oversee warehousing, transportation (road, air, sea) and value‑added services, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations (WSH, SCDF, NEA, GHS/SDS, customs).
• Manage product flows between principals, IMCD, customers and inter‑company entities.
• Document, maintain and continuously improve logistics processes.
• Act as key user for MRP and inventory management systems, supporting optimal stock control.
• Lead demand forecasting and replenishment planning in close collaboration with Business Units, Customer Service and Finance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore’s logistics, warehousing, transportation and 3PL market.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management, stock replenishment and working‑capital optimisation (preferred).
• Data‑analytics background with the ability to turn supply‑chain data into actionable insights (preferred).
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong ownership and follow‑through.
• Familiarity with chemical‑distribution regulatory requirements in Singapore (preferred).
