Team Manager – Recruitment Business Development

About the role

The position is a Team Manager role responsible for running a profit‑and‑loss business unit within Michael Page’s recruitment practice. You will lead a specialised desk covering sectors such as Technology, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and more, delivering end‑to‑end recruitment solutions for top brands in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing – act as the primary contact for internal talent acquisition needs and build pipelines of qualified candidates.
• Lead Generation – organise events, networking meetings and outreach activities to generate commercially important leads.
• Key Account Management – maintain and grow relationships with leading brands, understanding their recruitment strategies.
• Team Management – lead and develop a sales‑focused recruitment team, setting targets and coaching performance.
• Engagement & Closing – use social media, cold‑calling and negotiation skills to secure new business and close deals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of experience in a recruitment company, including three years in a people‑management role.
• Strong commercial drive and a proven track record in business development or sales.
• Ability to build rapport with C‑level executives and align with company values.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to manage and engage Mandarin‑speaking clients from China.
