Technology Strategy & Transformation Consultant

About the role

Deloitte’s Technology, Strategy & Transformation team in Southeast Asia is seeking a Consultant to help design and implement core banking platforms for leading financial institutions. You will work on end‑to‑end delivery of modules such as onboarding, payments, lending and compliance, collaborating with global experts on large‑scale transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support functional leads in the full lifecycle implementation of banking platforms across assigned modules.
• Configure platform parameters, rule engines and custom components to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain system integrations using APIs, messaging or file‑based interfaces, handling mapping, error management and performance tuning.
• Define and execute data migration strategies, including mapping, transformation logic, validation and reconciliation.
• Prepare test data, execute functional, system and integration testing (SIT/UAT), and manage defect analysis and resolution.
• Troubleshoot configuration, scripting and integration issues, escalating complex risks as needed.
