Terminal Operator Specialist

About the role

The Terminal Operator Specialist leads a logistics team to ensure efficient daily operations, from inventory control to shipment tracking. This role combines team supervision, process optimisation and cross‑department collaboration to meet delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise a team of logistics staff, providing training, performance evaluations and task scheduling.
• Oversee daily logistics activities including inventory management, transportation, order fulfilment and shipment tracking.
• Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement process optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with customer service, procurement and warehouse teams to resolve logistical issues and support strategic planning.
• Act as first point of contact for troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, shipment delays and customer escalations.
• Maintain health, safety and regulatory compliance across all logistics operations.
• Manage inventory accuracy, conduct regular stock audits and support warehouse layout optimisation.

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in logistics or operations management, with at least 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
