Training & Development Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

Join a leading luxury watch retailer as the Training & Development Manager, where you will shape the learning culture across boutique and corporate teams. You will design and execute learning strategies that enhance employee capability, drive service excellence, and elevate the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct Learning Needs Analyses to identify capability gaps and recommend effective solutions.
• Partner with Retail Operations, HR, Brand Partners, and business leaders to drive talent development initiatives.
• Design, facilitate, and deliver training programmes, leadership workshops, onboarding, and coaching sessions.
• Perform boutique visits, field coaching, and customer observations to improve service and sales performance.
• Support succession planning, career development, and competency framework creation.
• Measure training effectiveness through evaluations, operational KPIs, mystery‑shopping results, and stakeholder feedback.
• Manage training budgets, external providers, and learning resources.
• Collaborate on compliance, system awareness training, boutique openings, and regional learning projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or Organisational Development.
• Experience delivering classroom training, workshops, and coaching programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience evaluating learning effectiveness and preparing reports.
• Comfortable conducting boutique visits and providing field coaching.
• Experience in luxury retail, premium retail, hospitality, or customer‑service industries is a plus.
