Vice President, Solution Architect

About the role

The Vice President, Solution Architect will lead the design, development and implementation of robust, scalable solutions that address complex business challenges for Mizuho Bank Singapore and its affiliated units. Working closely with stakeholders, engineering teams and business leaders, you will ensure that solutions are innovative, efficient and aligned with the bank’s technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement high‑performing solutions that meet business needs.
• Partner with intragroup and third‑party providers to deliver resilient application services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance and performance standards.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain architectural integrity.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
• Develop documentation, diagrams and architectural artifacts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve architectural and integration issues.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship experience.
• Ability to work closely with business, engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and performance considerations.
• Proactive in staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
