Web Developer – Front‑End & CMS Specialist

About the role

First Page, a global digital marketing agency, is seeking a Web Developer to join its development team. You will support the ongoing maintenance, optimisation, and enhancement of client websites while collaborating closely with SEO and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing client sites on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, and Shopify.
• Implement technical and on‑site SEO improvements such as site‑speed optimisation, mobile responsiveness, security updates, hreflang, canonical tags, robots.txt changes, and 301 redirects.
• Identify and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and front‑end problems promptly.
• Develop and modify front‑end functionality using HTML, CSS/SCSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure changes work across devices and browsers.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in web development, website maintenance, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with established websites and modifying existing codebases.
• Familiarity with at least one CMS platform (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or Webflow).
• Understanding of technical SEO concepts and their implementation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug front‑end code.
• Good grasp of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
