Accountant – 12‑Month Contract (SAP S/4HANA)

About the role

This 12‑month renewable contract role is with a global multinational corporation seeking an experienced accountant to manage month‑end close activities, SAP processes, and financial reporting. The position starts immediately and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key responsibilities

• Post monthly accruals, cost reallocations, pre‑payments and open PO accrual journals.
• Run fixed‑asset depreciation, loan confirmation, and WBS settlements.
• Execute revaluations for AP, AR, loans and other liability GL accounts.
• Review GL transactions, trial balance and prepare intercompany AP/AR summaries.
• Manage SAP period‑end closing, locking activities and year‑end rollover.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations in OneStream and support SOX journal reviews.
• Lead finance improvement projects, including asset disposals and ledger clean‑up.
• Provide SAP support to payroll, AP, PO raisers and other departments.
• Prepare audit and Fringe Benefits Tax documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (progress toward CPA/CA is a plus).
• 4‑5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong time‑management, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (web version) – core accounting functions.
• OneStream for reconciliation and reporting.
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
